Welcome to Blogget, this is where I share snapshots of my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

The Mae Deli

The Mae Deli

I was given Deliciously Ella's cookbook a couple of Christmases ago and have been hooked with her recipes ever since.

So when the first Mae Deli opened up I was desperate to go. But in classic me style it's only now, after they've opened 3 of them, that i've actually made it to one for lunch.

And it was definitely worth the wait!

Tabitha and I went to the one on Weighouse Street.

First off the Deli is beautiful

Warm red brick exterior, navy blue awnings and an interior which will make you want to totally re-do your kitchen.

Shelfie goals

Tucked away behind Bond Street Station, it's the perfect place to stop and refuel during a long day of shopping.

They have the most amazing selection of salads which change daily.

And if you're in need of something sweet there's lots of yummy cakes, as well as energy balls (for those on a post-Easter health kick!)

You can check out my version of Deliciously Ella's cocoa energy balls here

So the next time you're having a shopping spree in Selfridges, why not go and discover the Mae Deli - you won't be disappointed.

And I think I might spend this weekend attempting some of the recipes from my Deliciously Ella cookbook.
