That's the only word I can think of to describe the view that greets you as you round the last bend on the road from East Dean.
Birling Gap is a magical place.
The chalk cliffs rising high above the pebble beach, which disappears completely under the waves at high tide.
It's the perfect place to watch the sunset and enjoy a picnic supper with friends (and Pirelli)
It was a little too cold for a swim but we did brave the freezing water for a quick paddle.
And obviously it had to become a mini photoshoot ... because why the hell not!
A beach trip wouldn't be complete without some sort of ball game.
And with Tabitha now an avid rugby player we had fun chucking the Easter appropriate ball around.
We even attempted a line out...
I did finally manage to catch it!
I love being by the sea when the sun sets.
It feels so magical with the pinky haze of the sky reflected in the water, and the burning orb slowly dropping below the horizon.
But classically Ed and I had to ruin the serenity by attempting to jump over the setting sun.
All in all, it was a pretty fantastic evening.
Tabitha's amazing cooking. Cory's epic playlist. Ed's champagne. Ellen's chocolate Rice Krispie squares. And an incredible view.
It's definitely got me in the mood for Summer.
