Hi.

Welcome to Blogget, this is where I share snapshots of my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Villa des Orangers

For our final two days in Morocco we travelled from the Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech.

As the taxi pulled up outside the hotel, we all wondered whether he had gotten the wrong address. From the outside, the hotel looks like any other building.

Yet the moment you walk through the door, you quickly realise that it is far from 'normal'

We had some rosΓ© and then headed to the pool side for lunch.

Parma ham and melon for starter

Then roasted salmon and lentils

After an afternoon of lounging by the pool, and a quick adventure into Marrakech, we met for some cocktails in one of the many alcoves that are dotted around the hotel.

The food at the hotel not only looks amazing but also tastes fantastic.

Feeling completely stuffed, we decided to have an after supper game of backgammon. I am in love with this backgammon table, if only I had more room in my suitcase!

The next morning we had time for a breakfast feast and a quick swim, before grabbing a taxi to the airport.

And the excitement of the holiday didn't end when we reached the airport, because guess what? We we're upgraded to business.Β
I've never flown in anything other than economy. Even if my parents are happily sitting in business, Tabitha and I will be in the back of the plane. So, I decided to make the most of the experience - champagne, green tea and roast chicken. I only wish the flight could've been longer!

Even though I had an incredible time, I'm always happy to be back in the UK - there's something reassuring about stepping out of the airport and being met by the inevitable rain and cold wind. X
